The People

When you come to our club, you'll notice the rich diversity among our members. This diversity keeps our club alive. We appreciate and support each other and we treasure the value each member brings to the club.

You'll find a wide range of people here, from students to retirees, coaches, communication experts, social media managers, engineers, computer programmers, pharmacists, lawyers, mathematicians...

We always welcome new members. If you're interested in joining, simply attend one of our meetings two or three times to see if we are the right fit for you.

As is the case with every Toastmasters club, our club is operated by volunteers - board members or club officers. They are responsible for managing the club from all aspects:

President: Sets the tone for the club, providing helpful, supportive leadership for all of the club's activities.

Vice President Education: Encourages members' speeches and projects and serves as a resource for questions about education awards, speech contests and mentorship program.

Vice President Membership: Promotes the club and manages the process of bringing in guests and transforming them into members.

Vice President Public Relations: Promotes the club to the local community and notify the (social) media about the club's existence and the benefits it provides.

Secretary: Maintains all club records, manages club files, handles club correspondence.

Treasurer: Manages the club's bank account, pays bills, and takes care of the club's money, pays fees to Toastmasters international.

Sergeant at Arms: Keeps track of the club's physical property, such as the banner, timing device and other meeting materials and prepares the meeting place.

Immediate Past President: Advice the president.

Being a member of the board is a perfect opportunity for members to practice and improve their leadership skills. Every club member can become a board member.
