CAN ANYONE COME TO A MEETING?

Absolutely. We would be happy to meet you. You  have to be of at least 18 years old to become a member, but otherwise there are no restrictions. ​

HOW LONG DO TOASTMASTERS MEETINGS LAST?

Our meeting lasts 90 minutes. We start at 18:30 and end at 20:00. Afterwards we usually go for a drink in a nearby pub. 

DO I NEED TO PREPARE FOR MY FIRST MEETING?

No preparation is needed. Just bring yourself!

WHICH LANGUAGE ARE MEETINGS HELD IN?

English. Many guests from all over the world come to our meetings.

HOW CAN I BECOME A MEMBER?

Easy. You fill out this form, pay the membership fee and you become our member (details in How to join). Afterwards, you get a mentor who will guide you and answer every question you might have.

We suggest you visit one or two meetings as a guest first. In this way, you can get to know us a bit. 

WHERE AND WHEN DO YOU MEET?

We meet every first and third Monday of the month.

We currently host hybrid meetings. We meet at Socialna akademija, Tržaška cesta 132 and online on Zoom at 6.30 pm.​ 

Before the meeting we mingle a bit, therefore it's best if you come at 6:15 pm. 

HOW MUCH IS THE MEMBERSHIP FEE?

It's a yearly fee of 220 EUR. Please see the details on how to join.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO HAPPEN IN MEETINGS?

Our meeting follows the standard format of Toastmasters meetings:

You can find yourself on the stage as well. :-) And after the meeting, you are welcome to go for a drink with us in a nearby pub.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE AT THE MEETING?

Usually there are between 12-20 people at one meeting.
